False Information...
I ordered this item because the description specifically stated it was made in Great Britain. It took two weeks to arrive and then it has a sticker showing it was made in China. myTableware.com has terrible customer service...no apology for false advertising just....I will send you a return label...seems to me they may have run in to this problem before and just hope customers will keep the item regardless. I am disappointed with Amazon...they usually work with reliable sources.
Beautiful
The seller's description is accurate. This is a beautiful piece of server-ware. The weight of it is solid but not heavy and the pattern is beautiful and matches the dinner plates and teacups that my mother already had from this company.
A word of caution: Ensure that the pieces you purchase are made in Great Britain. We've purchased pieces manufactured from other countries and have immediately returned them. The quality is horrendous.
Beautiful form and function
Perfect for baking then serving lasagna at the table. Only problem is it should be deeper, it equals a 9x13x2, 3qt. dish. But it is deep enough for average recipes.
